Flow of event:

9.30am-10am: Registration and self warm up

10am-11am: Meditational Yoga Workshop

11am-11.10am: Wash up and proceed to Mahota Pantry

11.10am-11.30am: Mindfulness Eating Sharing Session with Rie 

11.30am onwards: Free and easy brunch session (Brunch sets are NOT provided but can be ordered at Mahota Pantry. Participants would enjoy a complimentary dessert-of-the-day for every main course ordered.)

Meditation For The Conscious Lifestyle 

Meditation is the art of breaking habits, to purify the mind and to take care of day-to-day things. ~Yogi Bhajan

This workshop is perfect for people who want to achieve wellness and to improve one's well being through meditation.

Amongst our hectic lifestyles and stressful day-to-day chores, we sometimes face unpleasant experiences like insomnia, anxiety and even depression. It may be hard for us to find time to relax our minds and sometimes, simply taking a break is not enough. We may want to learn how to seek for peacefulness, improve focus and most importantly, to feel happier. Meditation might be what you need.  Do you know that 3 minutes of meditation daily makes difference in your life? Meditation does not have to be difficult. In this workshop, you would learn about the basic knowledge of meditation and experience how it feels.

Mindfulness Eating 

This sharing session would be conducted by Rie, whereby she would bring participants through a series of activities that allows one to understand the practice and experience of mindful eating. It teaches you to be pay more attention of what you are eating and be fully aware of what is happening to your body, mind and soul when eating. 

About the instructor, Rie Komiya

Originally from Japan, Rie is a yoga & meditation teacher who is passionate about sharing her knowledge on improving health, wellness, and management of stress. She has stayed in Singapore for 17 years and her goal is to help her students achieve their maximum potentials in different aspects of their lives. Rie motivates her students with her gentle personality and inspires her students on and off the yoga mats.
